Lago Snowboards Open Road
The Open Road is built with one of the fastest bases on the market. A P-tex 4000 base keeps your speed on those long cat tracks or traverses and retains wax longer… which means less wax time and more time drinking beer with your buddies.
Sandwiched in between pre-cured carbon stringers and the speedy base is a paulownia wood core. One of the lightest and strongest wood cores available…which is super light and snappy to boot.
This is a great all mountain board but thrives in powder. It’s slightly tapered nose helps keep your back leg from burning and lifted above the powder. It also has a mean sidecut to lay down carves on those early morning groomers!
Painted up and made pretty by legendary Japanese artist Taka Sudo.
- Super-light Paulownia wood core
- Pre-cured carbon stringers with Triax glass
- Sintered P-Tex sidewalls
- P-Tex 4000 sintered base
- Pow surf camber
- Blunt-ish pow nose/tail for maximum float, minimum weight

Open Road
Have yet to hit the snow but have done indoor practice, the flexibility is amazing. Gives me amazing pop, but besides the gorgeous design, I absolutely love how light this board is! This board and I are itching to get out on the POW!
On Point
Just got the Open Road in 156, Taka Sudo absolutely killed it with the design! Versatility is always paramount so I'm looking forward to shredding all over the mountain and seeing what this board is capable of. Definitely not way too stoked for next season..
Scotty! Asah dude.
The board is ****. First off, it's super playful, especially compared to what I'm used to. It feels really surfy, diggin on that side cut. Floats decent, and the graphic is great. I love this board.
Amazing board
The flex is great because it's not too much, but just enough to maintain a nice level of pop while riding across rollers and jumps. The edges are prestine, they allow for **** carving without bellying out. Overall this is the nicest, most comfortable all mountain board I've ever ridden. Now I'm just just awaiting more powder up here to start shredding more and more on it
Just a Rippa!
This board rips through all conditions and snaps back when you need to make those tight turns in the trees! It has become the best board I've ridden in just the first couple of days I have been on it. Love this thing!
